WHO I AM...
My name is Lucas Rafael de Oliveira Longuini and I'm an year old Web Developer from São Paulo, Brazil. I first started coding at the age of 16 in December 2015 for a sandbox game called Garry's Mod, and I've never had any experience with programming prior to that point.
As time went on, I've started getting more interested in coding that it basically became my main hobby (if you can call it that). I started getting some help for more advanced codes via other Garry's Mod community contributors, but I'm still in the learning process of becoming more experienced with complex Lua code which is the language used for GMod's addons.
As someone who's attending College for Web Design and Web Development, I'll admit that it was difficult at the beginning since you need a basic understanding of programming logic and how the computer processes code, as well as a fairly amount of algebra in order to do more complex coding. People might tell you that you need to be a genius in order to code, but that's completely false. Coding can be difficult to understand at first since it's a bunch of mathematical and logical operations, but with a little bit of practice anyone can be a programmer.
My personal advice? Start with something basic like HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Those are the main markup languages for developing websites and they're really easy! You might have some trouble understanding how they work, which is normal. But, like I said previously, with a little practice you can do anything!
MAIN HOBBIES
I don't really have a "main hobby", but most of my free time activities consists of:
- gaming with friends;
- pulling all-nighters with friends while gaming;
- listening to loud electronic music (I swear I'm not deaf...);
- coding for Garry's Mod;
- watching YouTube videos.
